Back strength

I had undergone L2  laminatectomy along with l12 to  l 3 pedicular screw fixation due to fall from height L2 burst fracture in 2018.  right now I am doing everything except running and heavy lifting but  I feel my back muscles are not to strong enough. please suggest me some back strengthening and overall body strengthening along with back pain relieving safe exercises and please tell me can i lift weights?
