if u are able to sleep on one side or on your tummy, but unable to sleep straight, then u have "Coccydynia". it is a painful condition of ur tail bone.
u need to give it rest. Get urself a ring-shaped cushion and start sitting on it at all times for 3 weeks, don't let ur buttock come in direct contact with the floor or chair or an surface for that matter. sleep on ur tummy or on one side. if u r at home most times, then I suggest that at home instead of the cushion, get urself the tube of a tyre of a rickshaw or moped-bike. nothing works better than that.
Sitz bath wil also help... google this
