While i bent to pull a small plant, i felt a reflex and pain over my back, upper hip. I can climb on steps. I feel pain over my right back and hip.

It is Lost likely you would have pulled a muscle. Take simple painkillers, use hot water bottle on back and keep mobile. Pain should improve in 2-3 weeks time. If it does not improve, then see an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon.
