Breastfed baby can pass upto 5-6 times daily or may not pass stool upto 1 week....if baby is comfortable ,no tummy distension n feeding well, nothing to worry.....i don't recommend using soap water

A baby up to 6 month of age passing stools once in 3 days to 7 days is normal , it's not considered as constipation. The Growth Velocity is maximum during this period & the stool formation is less in a exclusive breast fed baby. If TSH level ( Thyroid profile ) for Hypothyroidism is normal nothing to worry. Using soap water is wrong practices.
