My baby was born a month earlier than due date...she was 2.3 kgs at birth..now she is 3.5 months old weighing 4.6kgs...My query is her weight ok?? what should be the ideal weight? Secondly how many months baby she will be considered 3.5 months or 2.5 months.. please help

Weight of premature babies depends on how much early delivered. But in your case weight gain is low. It should be at least 5.2 kg. Kindly assure feeding timely and adequately. If possible give fortified feed. Dr Chandan Barnwal Child Specialist Deepatoli, Ranchi

Ideally birth weight doubles at 5-6 months So as per birth weight it's correct. Vaccination and other things as per chronological age..I e 3.5 months
