The patient requires a thorough evaluation, including patient's age, a complete hormonal profile, and also genetic studies as maturation arrest is common in certain genetic conditions. Correcting any hormonal imbalances may improve the chances of retrieving sperm through TESA. However, if treatment fails and hypospermatogenesis with maturation arrest persists, the likelihood of success remains low. In such cases, the patient may need to consider using donor sperm or pursuing adoption.
