Azithromycin causing loose stools

Hi i have throat pain and slight fever of 99.2. i consulted doctor and gave azithromycin 5 days course. My covid test is negative. My 1st day dose is fine and 2nd day i m having loosing motions and mucous .my throat pain reduced and temp is normal. Can I stop azithromycin?

dont worry take warm liquid and complete the course also dont abruptly stop it eat well
