Will mother consuming ayurvedic medicines affect her breastfed baby (1 month old)?

Everything in this world have side effects. Ayurwedic medicines are not exception to this. But side effects are different for all medicines. If you know the contents search it in herbal medicines for side effects.

As an allopathic practitioner I can definitely account for the medicines that we use as details of their dosage and preparation are available, the same is difficult for an allopathic doctor to comment on Ayurveda as it doesn’t fall under our knowledge base. However if it is due to any illness you need to consume any medicine you must consult your gynaec and speak to your paediatrician regards the same and can get easy solutions
