I have been prescribed levofloxacin 750 and Amoxycilln tablet in addition to comebutol and macox plus 600 for tuberculosis. Why levofloxacin and amoxicillin when standard medication for t.b is rimfacin,isoniazid and ethambutol. Even after 8 month of medication.

Ideal is 4 Deus regime,unless if there's Drug resistance TB. In case it doesn't seem drug resistance TB. Please consult your doctor for further clarification

First two months. Rifampin , isoniazid, ethambutol, pyrazinamide. Then only 3 Rif, Iso, Eth for 4 months Standard treatment but can be modified. Need to more about your condition, which tuberculosis, why 8 months and still going, resolving or not.. Any other problem etc.. Please take a proper consultation
