Atopic dermatitis
Hello Doctor,
My baby is now two months old. She developed rashes all over her body, so I consulted a pediatrician. The doctor diagnosed it as atopic dermatitis and prescribed Tep-AD lotion and Hicope drops. However, since the allergic reaction seemed severe, the doctor later prescribed KAL-FD lotion, after which the condition improved.
Now, my baby’s skin has started peeling and appears very dry, similar to scales. Will this heal completely? Also, red patches have started reappearing on her face. I am exclusively breastfeeding—should I make any changes to my diet?
Looking like mild atopic dermatitis now on left cheek,Give moisturiser calamine works well for many skin conditions.Avoid egg white and fish the usually allergic. before 1 yr.Avoid food which u r allergic.don’t bother about white patches , no permanent discolouration .

Please do continue using moisturizer and use it immediately after a bath with a baby soap of PH 5.5. Is there any family history of atopy? If atopic dermatitis is very severe mild steroid creams might be needed. You can continue breastfeeding and can eat healthy food. For more detailed evaluation please book an online consultation.
