Thanks for the question. Contrary to popular belief there is no such thing as a detox diet. Unless you had a lot of alcohol in which case you need to keep yourself hydrated to remove it from your system.
Our food is made up of mostly carbohydrates, fats and proteins. When the food reaches inside our body it just divides into these components. Our body doesn’t know where these nutrients are coming from. They could be coming from a healthy meal or a wedding meal. My point being that you just had a little extra yesterday and need to go back to your own healthy diet that you might be following. The body has its own system of detox and is not dependent on other things like green tea and fruit.
But don’t take tension. Do what makes you feel good. Keep yourself hydrated, take little less salt so that your body does not retain water weight and to look a little slimmer for your events to come.
