My baby is just 1.5 months old dr. Suggested us to give her atarax drops whenever she cries a lot. Is it safe for my baby ?

Atarax is a specific drug for treatment of allergy,STOP it. At this age,babies cry more due to colic,and all it needs is burping the baby for 10 mins,NO medicine is required. Equally important is regular intervals between feeds,do NOT feed the baby when crying,unless 2-1/2 hours have passed since the last feed.
