Appendicitis Operation

My father was diagnosed with "Appendicitis with mass formation" and is currently being given some antibiotics/tablets. Doc suggested first need to remove mass around appendix b4 going for operation. He told do operation after 15 days. What should i do as keeping appendicitis so libg will not have issue of bursting and complicating further. Need guidance.

Now he needs to be treated by conservative(non surgical) means. Interval appendectomy after 4-6 weeks. However if conservative management fails(not getting relief), 'll have to be operated

Lump of  appendix has to be managed conservatively.  After lump settles, which takes 6 to 8 weeks, then surgery Should be done. Any surgery now will lead to serious complications
