Antibiotic after tooth extraction
I extracted my tooth today ... And one antibiotic Amoxycilin has been prescribed..how necessary is this to take because I have very acute gas problems and I do not have a good history with antibiotics as it causes extreme problems in digestion.
Hello it’s advisable to have your antibiotics if they have been prescribed by your dentist. For the gastric issue you can have PAN -40( antacid) empty stomach every morning till the time the antibiotic course is going on and can even have A to Z multivitamin in the afternoon for 7 days.

Hello , antibiotics are given to control infection . Though ur tooth is extracted but infection inthe socket persists and is required to take a course of 5 days and even to prevent further infection.
Many antibiotics in combination with lactobacillus are available in d market ,u can take them which will prevent gastric irritation .
