Anterior wall fibroid in uterus

Anterior wall fibroid uterus of size 73.7x59.4 mm whereas my uterus size is 78.5x73.5mm. I having cont heavy vaginal bleeding for last 13 days. My doctor has kept on medicines for coming 3 weeks & says this should cure it. Please advise whether I require to undergo Myomectomy or Hysterectomy. I am not planning for more kids in future.
