Anterior placenta

Hi sir/mam...now am 23 weeks pregnant, last week i took anamoly scan...plancenta anterior covering internal os and cervix length 3.7cms is this normal or any difficulty? This my first baby...am very confused...please help me

The placenta keeps migrating as the  baby grows and uterus expands . Chances of the placenta moving away  from the cervix is very much possible. BUT FOR NOW .. you should have PELVIC REST .  That is avoid any activity that causes strain or  pressure  or jerks. You can do your routine chores... Avoid heavy work . Avoid intercourse.

Need to repeat scan again at 32weeks to confirm exact migration of placenta.. Till now it's taken as placenta previa and you need to have proper rest, avoid exertion, physical relationship and heavy work... If bleeding, spotting visit your gynac...
