My father's both ankles are swelled up.He does a job,in which he has to keep walking for 12 hrs a day.The ankles pain too much.According to a doctor it is because of High Uric Acid.Thus he started having Medicines for lowering it.But still the problems persists.Suggest me what to do?

Get xray ankle AP and lateral. Both ankle. .apply ice over both ankles and with the xray get a consultation. .I think the swelling will persist for few more days
