Ankle Ligament Injury

My left ankle twisted while playing football 4.5 months ago. I consulted a physiotherapist & after a week full of sessions I saw a lot of improvement. He told me that it's a ligament injury and will heal in 4-6 months. Today, my ankle is almost recoved as I feel no pain & I have got the range too. However, it still swells if I walk/drive too much.
