I have server anemia and my iron level is at 5 and my hemoglobin is at 7. I would like to know if iron infusions are highly risky

Before going for iron infusions , first know the cause of anemia Tests like HAEMOGRAM WITH PERIPHERAL SMEAR can be done , For hb 7 gm , u can proceed fr iron infusions after a test dose s done , risk of allergy is one in 1000 , aftr going for a test dose u can go for infusion
