Hello, Yes there is another alternative to open heart surgery called TAVR (Tanscatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) where we replace the valve in cathlab through leg artery without opening the chest. Its a minimal invasive procedure but done at very few centres in India and is far costly than open heart surgery. Take care
