Alopecia totalis

I have problem of hair loss which can be called as alopecia totalis where all my head hair shed and I'm only left with some hair on my head ..It started when I was 17 after 1 year I gained my hair using minioxidil den again after 2 years same thing happened this time at very fast speed and now after 4 years it happened again but it was really slow dat I didn't even realise..I have been using minioxidil for treating hair loss and does help me but it takes alot of time plz Suggest anyother cure?

This is not the trestmentm for alopecia Areata. You may be having alopecia areata. this is an autoimmune condition due to the attack of lymphocytes​ against hair roots. This may have spread to become totalis. . It results in the formation of bald patches on the scalp. It can affect any hairy area of the body also like eyebrows and  beard. It has to be treated properly for long duration until the immunity comes down. Once the immunity is controlled, hair grows back over the patches.
