Allergic rhinitis in my 4 year old son

My son has allergic rhinitis since last 3 months. Doctor suggested it is adenoid hypertrophy. He gave furamist nasal spray. Initially he was fine for a month. Then i could notice he was having phlegm in his throat. He does not have phlegm in lungs. Only problem is throat phlegm and nose block.
