Hi As such there are no effective medicines that can be administered covertly for alcohol addiction. He needs detoxification & maintenance treatment with medicines as well as behavioral interventions, it can done by admitting patient as well as on OPD basis, then after we have to look for comorbid mental illness & other medical disorders. So it's a time taking process which needs patient & family cooperation for his treatment.
