After how many days black fungus attack
I recovered from covid 19 last month.i was on oxygen for 5 days . Currently taking extra care not going in dust or not touching any thing dusty in home also. Just want to know for how many days I have to take extra care to avoid black fungus risk .And what is the duration of black fungus attack after recovery from corona .

It is not affecting everyone... depends on a number of factor... Uncontrolled diabetes, misuse of steroids, oxygen therapy being some of them... Consult a ENT specialist if any symptoms develop

No..it's not attacking every person who recovering from covid ..it's an opportunistic infection.. only attacking persons with immunodeficiency...so many factors contributed..uncontrolled prolonged diabetes ..pts on steroid for long term ,. Patients withLong term ICU admission with steroids

Black fungus is usually related with unjudicious steroid use or with uncontrolled diabetes.

It affects post covid patient within <6 weeks at earliest it affects 12-15 days after recovery from corona.... Keep sugar level under control, avoid overuse of steroids, avoid wearing same dirty mask for long time change the mask, if you have warning signs like dental pain, nasal discharge, nasal stuffiness, anesthesia over face, pain in eyes, decrease vision, swelling in eyes, decreased movements in eyes, black spots over face around eyes , palate then immediately consult the doctor

Control your sugar level
Black fungus is not affecting everyone, immunocompromised patients are most effected, it is an oppurtunistic infection , misuse of steroids can be one cause, not every hospital admitted covid 19 recovery patient are suffering from it.
