Hi
It’s postpartum anxiety. It can start several weeks after delivery and often comes with sudden fear, crying, fear of dying, “what will happen to my children?” thoughts, and anxiety that becomes stronger at night.
The important thing is don’t treat these thoughts as predictions. When they come, remind yourself: “This is anxiety talking, not a sign that something bad is going to happen.” Try slow breathing, grounding, and avoid repeatedly checking your body or seeking reassurance.
Since it has been continuing, I would recommend taking a proper assessment for postpartum anxiety and depression so we can work on the root of it with CBT.
