Advice on contraceptive pills

I have a 29-30 day regular menstrual cycle which lasts for 5 days. My last period began on 1st June. I want to know which is the safest option for contraceptive I can start as soon as possible and that will be effective and without major side effects. I want to depend on this after 7 days. I do not suffer from any health problem, no PCOD / PCOS

Now it's late too start contraceptive pill.. You have to start it from day 2of period.. Better to wait in this month and meet a gynac nearby  or day 2of your menses
