My son aged 7 has been diagnosed with adenoids grade 3 and was prescribed Montair LC and nasal spray. After a month usage there is no change observed in the adenoids and doctor suggested for surgery. Does the adenoids subside in a month and is surgery the only option.

If you have taken medical treatment and still there is no change in adenoid hypertrophy, then you should proceed for endoscopic adenoidectomy. Otherwise it will affect his ear , face structure and lungs.
