Acute pancreatitis
Eight months ago, I had a stomach ache. I was treated and admitted for 12 days. I've been taking medication for eight months. Even today, if I eat anything oily or spicy, my stomach starts to ache. What should I do?
If you were diagnosed with Acute pancreatitis at that time that required admission, than you might be having recurrent attacks of acute pancreatitis or it could have been an episode of acute on chronic pancreatitis.
In both cases you need to evaluate for the cause of pancreatitis, the commonest being alcohol and gall stones.

A cross sectional imaging in the form of CT scan will be helpful to see the status of pancreas and if any complications due to pancreatitis arose.
If you had gall stones, you require a cholecystectomy also.
Health Tips
Abstain from alcohol and tobacco products. Avoid fatty meals or you can supplement your meals with pancreatic enzymes and see if that helps.
