Acute pain in lower abodmen

My wife underwent a surgery for ectopic pregnancy 2 months ago. She has been fine until today, but this afternoon she suffered acute pain in the lower abodomen. She is in the fourth day of her menstrual period. The pain relieved after she used a hot water bag, although a slight pain is still there in lower abdomen and in the stitch also. Please suggest

Although this doesn't seem to be related. However still if she has pain you can get an ultrasound done for her to see the status of uterus and adnexae at present. As rarely chances of a tuboovarian mass occurr post surgery
