Acute calcific tendonitis shoulder
Hi
My aunty is diagnosed with acute calcific tendonitis shoulder.
From few days she is getting too much pain in her shoulder. So after discussing with Dr @ railway central hospital, cp, Delhi, we inform that she have acute calcific tendonitis shoulder.
Plz suggest me the best treatment for it .

You can try intrarticular depoprednisolone with rest for 4-6 weeks , but this may in turn make the joint stiff.
She will definately benifit from arthroscopic synovectomy, decompression and debridement , lavage and loose body removal if any.
