Hello Please consult skin specialist near you It's important because only few creams won't help Needs to see if any hormonal abnormalities or other signs Once a scar developed on face it remains a scar So act smartly n shortly asap

Thanks for the query. Acne vulgaris is a common problem at your age group and one need to take appropriate treatment to prevent any scar formation and hyperpigmentation. In acute stages depending on grade of acne , one can use topical or systemic treatment ranging from antibiotics to retinoids. After the acute stage goes away, you need to be on maintainance treatment for about six months to one year and that therapy includes topical combination of retinoid and benzoyl peroxide. If your acne is still resistant once you can check hormone levels and thyroid function tests and usg abdomen to rule out any pcod.
Next Steps
Avoid self medications and follow your doctors advice.
