I got my ACL ligament torn cause of playing football.. before I put POP, fluid released during injury were taken out. .is it usual/good to do that or doing so cause some permanent damages?

No need for POP or aspiration of fluid.. u will get better in terms of pain.. u will definitely benefit from arthroscopic key hole surgery to get your ACL repaired.. ACL deficient knees will land up in recurrent instability and premature arthritis

They must have done a haematoma tapping which should be done but i dont think you need a POP for this injury , a simple Long Knee brace should be enough , Get an MRI done once the swelling subsides..
