Weak or hypotonic LES will present with heartburn: pain on chest behind the sternum, the breast bone. Also, there will be symptoms of foul.smelling breath from mouth due to stasis of gastric contents .

You can watch your diet.
Cut off spicy and oily food to break the cycle.
Try simple home cooked meals.
Eat meals in small portions. You will have to eat them at short intervals. You can try using two pillows at night.
Try not to lay down immediately after having meals.
