Can occasional heartburn(feel slight hot sensation and burn and near wrap)occur after fundoplication??Also i feel acids moving in stomach..are all these things ok?i also get 2-3 belchings a day.Will belching weaken my wrap?plz clear my query doc

HYPERACIDITY is different problem. And can persist. Fundoplication can only stop acid from going into esophagus that too upto a limit. Belching will not affect the surgery except if too much. HYPERACIDITY needs to be treated. Avoid spicy foods coffee tea cold drinks alcohol smoking junk food etc. Plant based diet.
