About partial Nephrectomy
My mother had left renal mass not diagnosed benign or malignant,but in scinti renagram kidney function is normal,is it necessary for going surgery? please give me sugggesion.biopsy is needed before going surgery?
It depends upon size of mass. U may undergo CECT abdomen which will give u some clue about its nature ( benign or malignant).
If malignant or if there is doubt and other kidney is Normal better to operate.

It depends on size and imaging of mass and the kidney .. normal Renogram cannot rule out surgery ..
If the mass is malignant then she has to undergo surgery ..
