Hello doctor... I would like to know whether Orofer XT medicine is suitable for a 70 year + person? Also , could you pls tell , what should be it's dosage? How should it be consumed... Before or after meals?

Orofer xt is iron supplement.. its given for iron deficiency anemia .. so please do iron profile if possible.. if iron stores are low then you can give.
Once a day after food ...Black colour stool is common with this medicine..but its not harmful.
