Hi doc, just want to knw is it safe to take Ashwagandha tablets with escitalopram 10? Is there any durg interaction between these medication. Will be much thankful for the advice.

Hi I am an allopathy doctor/ consultant psychiatrist. Sometimes SSRIs interact with Ayurvedic medicines which incease seretonin levels in the brains and body. I am now sure if Ashwagandha does that. My recommendation would be to continue escitalopram 10
