About cataract

Cataract on my left eye since childhood. I don't know about cataract on left eye at time of birth or after birth. So I want know that is that possible to cure cataract and I have seen clear vision. Once time I have discussed with eye doctor they have said that if retina is developed than may chance vision so any test or method to find about retina developed or able to see vision.

Hello As you mentioned that you have this cataract since childhood...so there are chances that you may have amblyopia or lazy eye in that eye. If there is mature cataract,then retina evaluation can be done with B scan which can give gross idea about retina These types of cataract are usually operated under guarded prognosis
