I have rheumatoid arthritis, hashimoto's disease, hypertension. Recently had an ecg and was told abnormal t wave with possible left atrial enlargement. I do sometimes feel fluttering and very rapid beating. My dad had to have mitral and tricuspid valve replacement as well as pacemaker. Would my ecg warrant seeing a cardiologist? Also what could these findings represent? My BP is controlled however the RA ks not. I take 25mg methotrexate weekly, prednisone 10 mg/day.
