I had severe left side abdominal pain 2 months back. After scan it is known that I had a kidney stone so I took tablets for 10 days. There is no pain again in 2 months. But suddenly today morning it started again from back to lower abdomen ( left side only).is it due to the kidney stone. I took the painkiller to cope up with pain. What to do if I get pain again and What food I have to avoid?

It might be due to renal colic. Have you done CT kub or not? Get CT done and review.

Madam, this pain could be because of a stone in the ureter. Please get an ultrasound scan or Plain (non-contrast) CT scan of KUB REGION to confirm the diagnosis. Avoid CT scan of you are pregnant. Thanks.

Get full assessment about stone size, location and functional derangement caused by it to kidney. If recurrent pain get it removed endoscopically if possible. Avoid oxalates rich food and high sodium diet
