9 month old sore that will not heal
I am 27 years old have never had any health issues and about 9 months ago I developed a hard knot under the skin on the left side of my bottom I thought it was trapped fluid so I opened it up now 9 months later it is still an open sore that has never healed. It is red, looks like underlying skin protruding out, it hurts and it bleeds occasionally if I sit down on it the wrong way. I went to my primary care at the beginning and was given antibiotics which did nothing. I am desperate for help.
Sometimes also take longer to heal which depends on the size of the answer the depth of the ulcer and any underlying conditions.
