He is not asking for feed as well as not taking in every 2 hrs. He is passing urine 5 6 times. But he is not taking enough feed. He has lost 10 gms in last 2 days. How to wake him up and ensure he is taking enough feed?

It is quite common to lose wt, in the first 10 days, and the appetite also less initially. So nothing to worry, if he does not have jaundice, vomitongs or fever. Should be alright in a day or two

Dear parents , Hold the baby in one arm keeping his head at elbow joint and the buttocks in the palm of same arm and feed the baby for 15to20minutes . Hold the baby outer palm in between the thumb and index finger and press the palm when ever baby sleep or stop feeding .feed every 2hrly.
