Hi Actually the ureter in the lower part is very narrow, so the chance of a stone of 3-4 mm to pass is somewhere 50-70% but as the size increases the chances decreases. Also when it comes to 7mm, the spasm causes vomiting and other complaints. You can try for a week with medical management but best is to undergo endoscopically laser treatment of stone.
