6 year child's eye covered by swelling

My 6 year boy got hit at his right eyebrow region by head of other while playing. we took him to general phisician who gave some medicines and said not to worry, swelling will be go in few days. his eye is now covered 80% due to swelling of eyeland swelled region is coloured purple. eye seems to be ok means no redness its normal coloured. plz help.

I would suggest you should visit an ophthalmologist and get his vision and retina checked
