Recently, My mom had seizure-like activity for the first time and she had it like fits (not a tongue bite). we consulted neurosurgeon ordered MRI and EEG, MRI with blood clots and normal EEG. Does this indicate any bad sign? She is a alprazolam-addict.

She had a BZD WITHDRAWL SEIZURE most likely....GTCs...MRI revealing clots/ infarcts could be explained only after seeing the films... Continue with Advice given and also Consult a Psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and Management of the case... regards
