How long will it take for a 4mm kidney stone stuck in the ureter to pass by it's own? How big is human ureter? And do I need to go for some medical intervention to remove the stone in the ureter? I am taking tablets for relaxing the ureter

Usually 4 mm size stone is likely to pass-out in urine in 10 days. Ureter size varies with person to person. If d stone is not passing out den we need to intervene.

Generally the observation period for the ureteric stone to pass down into bladder is around 2 weeks. It's not related to size of the stone. Ureteric stone for more than 2 to 3 weeks in the same location with hydroureteronephrosis is an indication for endoscopic surgery that is ursl.
