My baby is 4 months old. He passed hard stool today after 4 days and cried alot. Please let me know what could be the reason for hard stool at this age and what to do for this.

You can give her syp looz 3 ml in night time for hard stool Check the thyroid level of baby, can be due to hypothyroidism Increase water content of mother diet

Greetings if the baby is on formula feed the child can get hard stool .in case of breast feeding ask the mother to drink lots of water,fruits and vegetables to avoid constipation
