32nd week growth scan during pregnancy

My daughter is 32 weeks pregnant. everything is alright, all previous tests, scans etc are well. On our last visit to the doctor a month ago, the doctor presribed a growth scan (usg) at 32 weeks. i want to ask whether we can leave this 32 week growth scan? is it mandatory? the delivery date is 30 may 2020. isnt it possible that we go directly for delivery to the hospital so that there are less risks of corona transmission to my wife?

Hi , I do understand that with the risk of COVID , you want to avoid getting out. But your daughter's last scan was done at 20 weeks , so this scan is important to know how the baby has grown over time , the fluid levels and doppler parameters also have to be checked . You can take safe precautions , book an appointment for scan and send the report to your Dr , but i would suggest to definitely get it done . Please do not wait till MAY 30 TO GO THE HOSPITAL .

It can be delayed but good to perform by 36 weeks... To know baby's health...

It's equally important to know some growth parameters of the baby at 32-34 weeks....it's not an emergency but can get it done after 2-3 weeks ....
