Hi doc! I had 2 nd metacarpal shaft undisplaced fracture 3 days back got slab What all precautions I should take. I am a surgeon ( gynaecologist) so more concerned. Will it heal completely or leave some disability. How much time will it take to heal . Thanku !

Hi Doctor, It will take 4 to 6 weeks to heal. You need to continue with slab for atleast 4 weeks. It will heal completely, don't worry. You will not have any disability.
