Hi, I had two abortions (Jan:on my 8th week fetal heartbeat stopped,May: irregular sac and no fetal pole). I have no history of PCOS and thyroid. When my gynec asked me to take antibody test the next month after my abortion on my last day of period it APTT was Test: 36.2, sec Control :30.6)and PTT was Test:14.5 sec ,Control 12.6,INR 1.16). I was asked to take another blood test the next month after two weeks of my periods to check again. The result was normal (APTT was Test: 27.1, Control : 32.0) and PTT was (Test :11.2, Control :12.4 and INR : 0.9). My gynec suggested me to take ecosprin throughout pregnancy with heparin injections for my first trimester. My question is heparin is really needed or only ecosprin will do the job?

Seronegative APLA ( anti phospholipid antibody syndrome) requires both ecosprin and low molecular weight heparin
Next Steps
You have 2 clinical abortions and 1 abnormal ApTT and PT so you need heparin as well
